Y -- SOURCES SOUGHT The U. S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set-aside an acquisition for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns only. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is approximately $11,100,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 236210 and the small business size standard is $31 Million. The estimated time for completion is approximately 672 calendar days. The solicitation, when issued, will be formatted as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with the requirements designated by sections of the FAR 15.203 for a competitive negotiated procurement utilizing the authorized Two-Phase Design-Build selection procedures of FAR 36.3. The acquisition is for the design and construction of a Multi-Mission Facility at the U. S. Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May, NJ. The scope of the project includes the design and construction of a new two story facility and a vessel support building that will provide space requirements for the three operations- Station, ANT and WPB. At the present time, the acquisition is expected to be issued under full and open competition procedures.
