THE FOLLOWING IS THE GENERAL SCOPE FOR THE SOLICITATION: This is a Design/Build project. The project will provide homeport facilities for three (3) 154-foot Fast Response Cutters (FRCs) at SFO Galveston, Galveston, TX. The project includes, but is not limited to, constructing 5,365 GSF of new Maintenance and Support facilities for the FRCs and associated small boats; renovation of existing buildings for storage and administrative spaces; furnishing and outfitting of the new facilities; modifications to existing and provision of new electrical, telecommunications water, sewer, and electrical utilities. Waterfront work includes, but is not limited to, construction of a new 150' extension to the existing 180' WLIC pier; extensions and improvements to hotel capabilities necessary to homeport FRCs; reconfiguration of existing rip-rap bulkhead; and dredging.
