Sources Sought Notice to Determine the Availability and Types of Ready-To-Eat Soups and Condensed Soups where Milk or a Milk Derivative is an Ingredient

Description: The Kansas City Commodity Office (KCCO), Domestic Procurement Division, Beacon Facility – Stop 8718, P.O. Box 419205, Kansas City, MO 64141-6205, is seeking information on ready-to-eat soups and condensed soups where milk or a milk derivative is labeled as an ingredient. KCCO is also seeking information on reduced-sodium and low-sodium ready-to-eat soups and condensed soups. This notice will serve as market research to obtain the availability and types of these products. This notice is not a formal solicitation but a request for interested parties to provide product information. Interested suppliers should submit the following information: Name, address, contact person, title, telephone and fax numbers, email address, and available website. Each supplier must provide type(s) of soup(s), product brand name, ingredients composition, nutrition facts, servings per container and shelf life. In addition, each supplier must provide unit size(s), quantity and weight per case, pallets per truckload, truckload weight (gross and net), capacity capabilities, specifications on product stacking, transportation modes, manufacturing locations, and business size standard. The delivered product shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act, and regulations promulgated there under.
