MARKET RESEARCH IS BEING CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE INTEREST AND CAPABILITY OF POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. THIS POSTING MAY BE AMENDED AT A LATER DATE TO A SYNOPSIS OR PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION WHICH WILL PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS TO RESPOND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY. The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV, has a future requirement for a Soda/Bag in a Box Service for inmates at FPC Alderson located in Alderson, WV. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 312111 and the FPC Alderson is seeking a corresponding small business size (Size Standard: 1,250 employees). The government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of 12 months, beginning October 1, 2017 and terminating September 30, 2018. The service will encompass the provision of carbonated beverage products, equipment, and service. All required beverages would be dispensed by a bag-in-box dispensing system supplied and maintained by the vendor. The Contractor shall provide repair services on the supplied equipment. The equipment shall include installation of (5) counter-top style dispensers which shall dispense six different flavors of carbonated beverages. Each dispenser must include an ice maker capable of producing 600 pounds of ice per day. Three (3) of the dispensers must also include water spigots. Flavor selection must include clear soda, fruit punch, lemonade, sweet tea, unsweet tea, grape, and orange.
