54--Prefabricated Medical Clinics

This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. This sources-sought notice IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), nor does its issuance restrict the Governments ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will NOT reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama (CEHNC) is seeking responsible HUBZone Small Business manufacturers of re-locatable and modular office buildings under NAICS Code 321991. Please note that USACE is not seeking resellers or brokers, but actual manufacturers offering their own product with a physical manufacturing plant capable of producing custom manufactured mobile buildings of approx 5000 sq ft and capable of delivering and installing/setting-up at sites throughout the 50 United States. This requirement is for an approximate 5,000 sq ft medical clinic facilities to be delivered and installed at various installations around the United States. The estimated quantity is 16-20. The modular vendor/provider must be a turn-key modular bldg manufacturer and installer. All site work, utility coordination, etc will be included in the contract. Interested HUBZone Small Business firms should submit a capability statement demonstrating that it possesses: a. Architectural/engineering design capability- complete detailed drawings to be provided by modular vendor A/E services. Shall have capability of 3D design or BIM software, capable of creating 3D building perspective views. b. In-house project management from start to finish (design through turnover of buildings) c. In-house site supervision from start to finish d. Consistent team of installers/installation crew e. Information Management/Technology support for complete/turnkey IT design and installation. f. Its own manufacturing facility capable of producing 5000 sq ft prefabricated modular buildings for use as medical clinics. NO HARDCOPY OR FACSIMLE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Cover letters and extraneous materials (brochures, etc.) will not be considered. Interested firms should complete and submit a capability statement via email to [email protected] no later than 10 August 2012 3:00 PM CDT. Responses will not be returned nor will be considered by the Government as offers. Instead, responses to this notice only be used to determine capability/availability of HUBZone Small Business manufacturers in this industry.
