RECOVERY--68--PROJECT NUMBER 8450, Jim Woodruff Lock and Dam, Lake Seminole, FL, AL & GA Furnish and Deliver Aquatic Herbicides

Mobile District intends to publish a solicitation for the following brand name herbicides containing the indicated active ingredients: Aquathol K (endothall) and Galleon (penoxsulam) to treat submerged plants at Lake Seminole, Florida. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of other available herbicides that contain the above mentioned active ingredients. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by December 14, 2009 at 2:00pm central time will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract action as brand name or brand name or equal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on brand name or equal criteria.
