16--This is a market survey for Plastic Media Type VIII 55 galon drums.

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for 30-60 type VIII - plastic media blasting material for depainting. The material must be certified to meet MIL-P-85891(A) type VIII. Additional source must be able to provide a quantity of 8,000 pounds of 30-60 type VIII material in steel drums. The same additional source must be able to take away used material in the same steel drums after use. The 30-60 type VIII material, steel drums, delivery and disposal of said plastic media blasting material must be provided for a single per pound price. An equal to this product known as quote mark Magic II, 30-60 quote mark and the related service have been provided by U.S. Technology Corporation, 4200 Munson Street North West, Canton Ohio, 44718-2981; CCR Cage Code: 1AM56. Detailed technical data for this material is not available from the Army. Any sources capable of providing this material (and the related service) must so indicate, by emailing [email protected] prior to 12:00 PM eastern standard time, August 30, 2013. This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
