SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. Anniston Army Depot is seeking companies who have the capability to provide a mineral abrasive with a mineral composition, sub-angular in shape and no free metallics. The abrasive shall be used at existing facilities at ANAD. The abrasive shall be used to blast clean metal surfaces, such as vehicle components and hardware, for removing rust, scale, and old painting and to provide surfaces that are clean and suitable for plating, coating and painting.
