Temporary & Portable Bridges

The BLM has a requirement for two (2) temporary and portable bridges. The bridges are to be used for multiple stream crossings for various projects including, timber sales, bypass roads during culvert replacements, and wildfire suppression. The purpose of this RFI / Sources Sought is to request information regarding temporary and portable bridges as stated above. The Government intends to use this information to assist in vendor identification; potential contract vehicle; and potential for a set aside to small businesses. The Government seeks vendor information to potentially procure one (1) 25’ - 40’ temporary & portable bridge and one (1) 51’ - 80’ temporary & portable bridge. Bridges shall have U80 load rating capable of passing a fully loaded 80,000 lb log truck, assorted passenger vehicles, heavy equipment, and emergency vehicles; a minimum of 14’ wide once assembled (assembly not included in the procurement); and include a safety curb or rail as part of the fabrication for each bridge. Bridges shall be fabricated and include delivery.
