Lower Granite Lock and Dam Navlock Upstream Gate Wire Rope Replacements Sources Sought Notice: W912EF-15-R-SS54 Contracting Office: US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, 201 North Third Avenue, Walla Walla WA 99362 Description of the Requirement: This project is for purchase of replacement wire ropes and the fabrication of additional mechanical components for Lower Granite's Upstream Gate in the Navigation Lock. The purpose of these wire ropes are to raise and lower the upstream gate of the navigation lock, ensuring that barges and recreational vessels can freely travel in the Snake River. Lower Granite Lock and Dam is located near Pomeroy, Washington. The successful contractor shall fabricate/furnish and deliver the wire rope assembly, to include all components and subcomponents, described in the attached Technical Specifications. All furnished components shall be new and not refurbished and conform in strength, quality of materials, workmanship and sound engineering standards. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332618, Other Fabricated Wire Product Manufacturing, with the associated small business size standard of 500 employees or less. This is not a solicitation.
