The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to identify potential sources capable of the fabrication, testing and evaluation of the 25MM PGU-20A/U Armor Piercing Cartridge. Sources will be required to fabricate 100 prototype tungsten p rojectiles in accordance with drawing 1397AS1001, 100 primed cartridge cases in accordance with drawing 1397AS70, a minimum of 600 prototype cartridges in accordance with drawing 1397AS1000 and conduct the Lot Acceptance Tests. Further, sources will be r equired to perform an evaluation of the cartridge technical data package (TDP) and Specification AS-6121. The contractor shall provide recommendations on design improvements and/or changes to the specification that will enhance producibility and reduce c o st of manufacture, without compromising the performance of the projectile/cartridge.
