The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The vendor must be capable of furnishing all management, labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation to provide Bullet Block Trap Barrier System for the ERDC Vicksburg, MS. The product being requested is to provide a weapons qualification facility in the Vicksburg area. The following criteria outline the expected specifications. The ERDC Range will be located at Flowers, Mississippi (Warren County) off U.S. Interstate 20 adjacent to the Mississippi Army National Guard Armory located on the Frontage Road. The ERDC Firing Range will be a multi-purpose range assisting ERDC Security Guards and other Law Enforcement entities with their training needs. The area is also directly east of affluent water ponds from local business.
