The USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, IBCT Product Line, intends to issue a solicitation for the Overhaul of one Welin Lambie 5.0A Series Dual Point Boat Davit, Part Number-TWPIV5.0A Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Baltimore, Maryland 21226-5000. It is the Government belief's that only Welin Lambie Ltd. can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper, fit, form, and function. At the present time, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a sole source to Welin Lambie Ltd. The technical information for the intended parts is proprietary to Welin Lambie. The proprietary information was not obtained at the time the original equipment was purchased; therefore we are only soliciting for the exact OEM items. Interested Sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data from Welin Lambie Ltd. and possess the capabilities to overhaul the Welin Lambie 5.0A Series Dual Point Boat Davit can submit information regarding capabilities within 5 days of this announcement. This information must include: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) and 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the provided information relative to the above requirement. Concerns that respond to this notice shall fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. THE INTENT OF THIS NOTICE IS TO CONFIRM IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER COMPANIES CAPABLE OF PERFORMING THESE SERVICES. IN THE ABSENCE OF RESPONSE FROM ANY FIRMS THAT BELIEVE THEY HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO PERFORM THIS REQUIREMENT, THE US COAST GUARD INTENDS TO NEGOTIATE WITH WELIN LAMBIE LTD FOR THE REQUIREMENT.
