Sources Sought Notice The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in an effort to derive a contract vehicle that will provide two fiber laser systems for the United States Naval Observatory. The required delivery date is September 30, 2023. It is anticipated that a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract action will be awarded with a five (5) year and six (6) months ordering period which will conclude 29 March 2029. It is anticipated that this requirement, if solicited, will be under NAICS code 335921 with a size standard of 1,000. This proposed contract vehicle shall provide all of the items notated in the statement of work that is attached. Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled "Solicitation for Information of Planning Purpose," this announcement constitutes a sources sought synopsis for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Please see the attached draft statement of work. SUBMISSION: NAVSUP FLC Norfolk is requesting capability statements and rough order of magnitude estimates. This is a sources sought notice only to identify potential sources capable of providing the material. Information will be used for planning purposes only. Responses should be emailed to
