V--Sources Sought Market Survey for land and Terminal Operations in an area located north of the Salang Pass Tunnel and East of Mazar-e-Sharif in the vicinity of Hairaton Afghanistan.

This is a Sources Sought Announcement. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and does not serve to bind the U.S. Government in any way. Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for costs associated with preparation of their responses. The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) is conducting a Sources Sought Market Survey in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential firms that have the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities required to perform the following potential requirement: Vendor must provide land and Terminal Operations in an area located north of the Salang Pass Tunnel and East of Mazar-e-Sharif in the vicinity of Hairaton Afghanistan. The land must be a minimum of 25-30 Acres, with walled security. Terminal Operations will, be a 24/7 operation, 365 days a year, and must have continuous security. The location must have the capability of housing an estimated six (6) US Government "Guests" at any time. Services to include, but are not limited to the following requirements: 1. Receipt of Cargo 2. Disposition of Cargo 3. Stuffing/Unstuffing of Cargo 4. Intra-Terminal Transfer of Cargo 5. Onward Movement of Cargo 6. Management Expertise 7. Yard Management 8. Material Handling Equipment Support 9. Container Management 10. RFID Management Write and Read Capability 11. Military Shipping Label Generation 12. Movement Control Reporting 13.
