66--TOSOH hemoglobin A1C BPA

This requirement is for a standalone fully automated analysis system that is capable of directly measuring total A1C hemoglobin by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) which is certified by the National Glycohemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP), reagent and other suppliers and services on a cost per test basis for the Albany, Buffalo, Bath, Canandaigua and Syracuse VA Medical Centers in the VA Western New York Health Care System (VISN 2). This cost per test agreement also includes the training, service and maintenance of the equipment. The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order for this requirement. The suggested contractor is TOSOH Bioscience Inc. Award will be made on or about November 15, 2011. NOTE: Interested vendors may respond to this notice on or before September 26, 2011, 3:30pm, EST. This notice is neither a request for quote or a solicitation of offers. The determination to sole source this procurement will be the decision of the contracting officer based on response to this notice.
