Acquisition of fuel supply [gasoline and diesel] of ground products for delivery in the States of AZ, CA, NV and UT

MEMORANDUM FOR SOURCES SOUGHT SUBJECT: Notice of Web Publishing of Sources Sought Notice SP0600-00-R-0204 under Customer Organized Group (COG 7), Posts, Camps & Stations (PC&S) Program This Sources Sought Notice (SS) SP0600-09-R-0204 is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified 8a Small Businesses [including Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), Woman-owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB] that are interested and capable of providing for the ground fuels requirement for Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). This SS covers the ground fuels requirement for DESC customers located in the States of: Arizona, California, Utah, and Nevada. The total estimated quantity for COG 7 is in excess of 82.8 million gallons distributed over 420 line items. The estimated quantities and products procured consist of: Motor Gasoline (MOGAS): 23.2 M Heating Oil: 2.5M Ethanol-based Alternative fuel (E-85) 715,000 USG Diesel: 36.4 M Gasohol: 12.6 M Bio-Diesel: 7.1 M Aviation Gasoline (AVGAS): 165,530 USG The deadline for responding to this Source of Sought Notice is 17 November 2008.
