V -- Small Business Sources Sought for Intra-City and Intra-Area Moves for NAS Jacksonville, FL

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida is looking for SMALL BUSINESSES interested in providing household goods services for intra-city/intra-area moves at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville Florida Area I and Area II. This acquisition will be conducted under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 484210, Used Household and Office Goods Moving, which establishes a small business standard of $23.5M. Services shall include premove surveys, servicing of appliances, packaging and packing at owner's residence to protect household goods properly during transit, tagging of items, inventorying, loading, weighting, drayage, unloading, unpacking, and placing of each article in owner's new residence as directed by owner or owner designated representative and removal of all empty containers and materials from residence. AREA I consist of the following counties within the State of Florida and Georgia: Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Nassau, Columbia, St. Johns, and Union. Counties of Camden, Charleston and, Glynn in Georgia. AREA II consists of the following counties within the State of Florida: Alachua, Dixie, Flagler, Gilchrist, Levy, Marion and Putnam. The Governments minimum daily capacity for Area I and Area II are 750 NCWT and 250 NCWT, respectively. (This is subject to change.) The base period of performance is projected to start 1 March 2008 through 31 December 2008. There will also be four one-year option periods. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
