SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This Sources Sought Synopsis is issued to ascertain market availability of all interested and capable businesses performing under the North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code 485310, Size Standard $7.0M. This is not a request for proposal (RFP). Responses to this request are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP or an award. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. Any decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely at the Government's discretion. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information submitted in response. Any information provided to the Government in response to this document will become Government property and will not be returned. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition strategy based on the responses received. All attachments and other information relating to this Source Sought Synopsis as well as any subsequent procurement notifications will be posted on FedBizOpps (FBO). GENERAL PROCUREMENT INFORMATION The requirement is for Non-Personal Services. See attached PWS package. The NAICS code for this requirement is 485310 – Taxi Services; Size Standard - $7,000,000.00. This Sources Sought is open to all interested parties. The anticipated Period of Performance will be a twelve (12) month base year beginning 1 September 2012 and running though 31 August 2013, with four (4) one-year options. NOTICE TO INTERESTED BUSINESS CONCERNS All interested businesses are encouraged to submit a brief capabilities statement package, no more than three (3) pages in length, addressing the following: 1. Business name, address, and point of contact 2. DUNS number and CAGE code 3. Statement of capability which demonstrates the ability to perform in accordance with attached PWS with specific emphasis on handling the 511 estimates during peak hours, ability to service the San Diego metro area including Coronado, base access, ability to electronically dispatch fares and electronically invoice, and reporting requirements 4. Relevant past performance information for efforts of similar value, size, and scope, including contract number, indication of whether your firm acted as a prime or subcontractor and contract value 5. Small business classification(s) if applicable: (i.e. small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged business, Veteran Owned business, Women Owned business) 6. Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing for budgeting purposes including cost per mile, stand-by time and any other foreseeable charges that could be incurred 7.
