DoDEA Pacific Japan District School Bus Safety Aide and Safety Attendant Services

Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Procurement Office is currently conducting market research to identify companies capable of and qualified to to perform School Bus Safety Aide and School Bus Safety Attendant Services for students, pre-kindergarten through grade 12, attending DoDEA Pacific mainland Japan district schools. The geographical scope of the Japan district includes Atsugi, Iwakuni, Misawa, Sasebo, Yokosuka, Yokota and Zama transportation areas. The DoDEA Pacific Japan District operates approximately 113 school buses servicing 21 schools during 183 school year days. The period of performance of services will begin 01 July 2021. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and does not obligate the Government to any current or future commitments. The Government will not pay/reimburse any costs or charges resulting from contractors responses to this RFI. If your firm is interested, capable, and qualified to provide these services, please submit written information supporting this capability. Capability statements shall consist of no more than 5 pages and include a cover page with the company’s name, business mailing address, point of contact, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), and Commercial And Government Entity/NATO Code (CAGE/NCAGE). For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 485410, size standard $15M. Please note, while proposals from vendors not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database will be evaluated, only businesses with an Active SAM registration will be eligible to receive contracts with the Department of Defense Education Activity.
