V--Special Event Transportation Service National Disabled Veterans TEE Tournament

The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS codes 485510. The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a Contractor to provide DOT Certified and Licensed Bus Transportation Service for Veterans and Care Givers for transportation to and from the National Veterans Tee Tournament located in Iowa City Iowa from September 9, 2019 to September 12, 2019. The National Veterans Tee Tournament is an annual tournament that provides legally blind and eligible disabled Veterans an opportunity to develop new skills and strengthen self-esteem through adaptive golf and bowling events. The contractor will provide a total of six (6) commercial charter buses for daily transportation needs throughout the duration of the event. Two (2) charter buses will be ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible for up to four (4) wheelchairs. The event is being held in Iowa City Iowa and transportation may include destinations within a 100-mile radius of Iowa City, Iowa. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
