This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking potential firms who have the skills, experience, knowledge and capabilities required to provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services at the Ports of JAXPORT Terminal, Blount Island, Jacksonville, FL, Cape Canaveral, FL and Cocoa, FL (Rail Operations). ACC-RI is requesting capability statements from potential firms which include their ability to provide the full spectrum of ocean terminal operations to include discharge and loading of cargo and equipment on vessels, rail and truck conveyances, drayage of containers, vehicles or other equipment to, from and between rail, truck, and vessel staging/call forward areas, including designated areas/facilities for washing and/or fumigation of cargo and equipment, and staging of all cargo for import/export operations. The performance locations for this requirement include the 832nd Transportation Battalion located at JAXPORT Terminal, Blount Island, Jacksonville, FL and the 832nd Cape Canaveral Detachment, located at building # 1063/1062, the Navy Trident Basin and the Poseidon Basin at Cape Canaveral Air Station, Cape Canaveral, FL. The Rail site will be conduct approximately 10 miles west of Port Canaveral, FL in Cocoa, FL.
