The purpose of this announcement is to obtain information only and to identify contractors who possess the capabilities to provide services as specified below. In preparation for a future procurement, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa Southwest Asia (NAVFAC EURAFSWA) is performing this market research to aid in the development of potential acquisition approaches. The purpose of this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is to identify companies with the capacity, experience, and interest in competing for a Base Operating Support (BOS) Services Contract at U.S. Naval Support Activities at the U.S. Naval Support Site, Gricignano, Italy. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide services for the following annexes: General Information, Management and Administration, Facility Support (Facility Investment, Custodial, Service Calls, Pest Control, Integrated Solid Waste Management, Recycling, Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping, Pavement Clearance), Utilities, and Environmental. The Support Site is a 228-acre installation with 995 housing units, an elementary school, high school, child care facility, swimming pool, commercial/hospitality space, and six cooking areas that totals approximately 3.33M square feet of facilities space. The work would be accomplished under a combination Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The contract term will be a base period with a potential of four one-year option periods. Be advised that this sources sought is open to all business concerns. Note that firms must be able to legally conduct business in Italy and comply with Italian law in performance of the work. A Best Value Source Selection procurement is envisioned that includes both price and technical proposals.
