Q--(1) FTE Hematology/Oncology Physician Services VA Central California Health Care System

Please note, this is NOT a request for proposal. The Government is seeking information strictly for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation document. The VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) in Fresno, California, 2615 E. Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA, is conducting a market survey. The requirement is for one (1) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) comprised of one (1) Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologist Physician. Hours needed are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 0800-1630 (40 hours/week). The Contractor Physician shall provide Hematology/Oncology Physician Services at VACCHS s Hematology/Oncology Clinic. Applicable NAICS Code 621111 applies with a business size standard of $11.0 million and the contractor must be registered and verified in the Systems for Award Management System (SAM). Responses to this sources sought notice shall be submitted in writing and received no later than 3pm PST, Tuesday, April 23, 2019. No telephone inquiries shall be accepted or returned. Contractor s physicians care shall cover the range of hematology/oncology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American Society of Hematology. Contractor shall provide board-certified and/or board-eligible medical oncology/hematology physician services on-site and shall evaluate and treat patients during a general oncology/hematology outpatient clinic at the VA. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS Code 621111 (business size standard of $11.0 per annum). Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is NOT currently available and may or may not be available in the future. IF a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on FBO at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
