Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, North Carolina is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for Third Party Freight Management Services. The third party freight company would reduce current inbound charges by a minimum of 40%. The third party freight company would utilize either FEDEX or UPS for shipping, to include overnight, express, 2nd day shipments, at a minimum, and have freight shipping alternatives for large shipments that FEDEX or UPS cannot handle. The period of performance will be one year (1 October 2013 - 30 September 2018). Womack Army Medical Center is seeking capability statements from all interested parties for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition. The Government reserves the right to consider all businesses based on responses hereto. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will by synopsized in FedBizOpps. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references.
