Q--4-10 On-Call Cardiologist

VA Maine Healthcare Systems 1 VA Center August, ME 04330, intends to enter into a Small Business Set-Aside contract for 4-10 On-Call Cardiologists to provide cardiology consultation by telephone within fifteen (15) minutes during weekends, holidays, evenings and nights (WHEN) hours. The weekday tour of duty is from 4:30p.m. to 8:00 a.m. On weekends and Federal Holidays, coverage includes 24 hours around the clock services. In addition, the Cardiologist must be able to come to the hospital, when requested by the attending physician, for face to face consultation and arrive within sixty (60) minutes. TERM OF CONTRACT: This contract is intended to be for one base year from the date of award. QUALIFICATIONS: Cardiologists must be boards certified/board eligible who are fully licensed, credentialed by VA Maine Healthcare System, and are ACLS certified.
