U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Region 10 is contemplating solicitation for Janitorial and Related Services at the Point Roberts, US Border Station either through establishing a Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement through the GSA Schedule 03FAC, SIN 811-02 or through open market competition on FebBizOps. This will be a performance based contract for a total not to exceed 5 years of performance. All practices, equipment and supplies will be based upon standard commercial procedures. The Point Roberts US Land Port of Entry building is located at the US-Canadian Border, approximately 22 miles south of Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. Point Roberts is a U.S. exclave bordered by Canada and the waters of Boundary Bay. It is part of the U.S. because it lies south of the 49th parallel, which constitutes the Canada-U.S. border in that area. The only accessibility to Point Roberts is through Canada. For the purpose of this Request for Information (RFI), tasks will include but are not limited to: Janitorial, Grounds Maintenance, Exterior Policing, and Commercial Janitorial Services. Building Information: Point Roberts Border Station (WA0119ZZ) Location: Tyee Drive and Roosevelt Number of Stories: One plus Basement Normal Building Operation Hours: 24 hours, 7 days per week, including Federal Holidays The period of performance will have a one year base period with the potential of four (4) one year option periods for a total period potential of 5 years. Anticipated full performance start date is August 1, 2018 - July 31, 2019. RFI Submittal List 1. Substantiate performance of janitorial services for buildings of similar size performed in remote locations under a contract or task order. Limit to 3 examples. 2. Provide a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition, signed by personnel with signatory authority. Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to utilize the Federal Supply Schedule or open market for this acquisition.
