Ambulance and Medical Transportation Services - USP McCreary, Kentucky

The Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the provision of Ambulance and Medical Transportation Service for the United States Penitentiary (USP) McCreary in Pine Knot, Kentucky. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621910 (Size Standard: $14.0 million). The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with a firm-fixed unit price resulting from the future solicitation. The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, ambulatory vehicles, materials, equipment, and licenses required to provide emergent ambulance services. The contractor shall transport inmate(s) to the desired hospital of the USP. Trips may occur at any time. The estimated quantities for a 12 month period are 100 ALS trips and 100 BLS trips. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
