R--Naval Justice School (NJS) - Mock Trial Actors/ Role Players

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. Naval Supply Center (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk’s intent of this announcement is to identify qualified and experienced sources for a contract vehicle that will provide for professional actors/ role players to assume the roles of the victims and witnesses for the Naval Justice School (NJS) as defined in the attached draft Performance Work Statement. This announcement constitutes a sources sought for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and a contract will not be awarded from of this announcement. This announcement is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. NJS conducts training for new Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy attorneys three times per year during its Basic Lawyer Course (BLC). The culminating event of this ten-week training course is a mock court martial evolution. Students or NJS staff members have traditionally played the roles of the victims and witnesses of these exercises. The contract would provide for professional actors/RPs to assume the roles of the victims and witnesses. Need: Fourteen (14) actors to provide role playing services in support of Mock Trials, serving as witnesses and victims for various scenarios. - Thirty (30) hour/week - Three (3) weeks/evolution - Three (3) evolutions/year Attachments: - Source Sought Notice - Performance Work Statement (PWS)
