The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for lodging support services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned for this potential procurement is 721110, Hotels (except casino hotels) and motels. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The DSCA anticipates lodging requirement in support of the NESA Combating Threats Executive Seminar (CTES)01-12. The period of performance is scheduled for 16 January - 2 February 2012. Preferable location should be near the Pentagon and within ½ mile radius of Crystal City/Pentagon City area. The requirement includes sleeping rooms for approx. 40 guests. Rooms shall provide each lodger with identical sleeping rooms of similar size and type (e.g. all studio suites or all one bedrooms), separate work space with desk, drawers and lighting, high speed internet hook-up; full kitchen facilities with full size refrigerator, oven, range, microwave, cabinets stocked with dishes and regularly scheduled housekeeping. Hotel should be capable of providing a full, hot American breakfast buffet for each lodger. 16 January 2012 -15 rooms, 17 Jan - 1 Feb- 40 rooms and 2 Feb-15 rooms. Totaling 670 room nights. This is not a request for an Event Planner. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
