This is a sources sought notice to locate sources and gain market knowledge of potential qualified sources for providing food service to the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), Alpena, MI. Alpena CRTC is a training installation for the A ir National Guard that supports training missions of various units throughout the nation. Unique to this installation is a high fluctuation of meals served and manpower demands, depending on the number of personnel visiting the installation and the missio n requirements. Particularly desired is a source to respond to this fluctuating schedule while providing the flexibility and quality necessary to satisfy the customer requirements. The Alpena CRTC requests interested contractors to respond with their capabilities and marketing materials that identify the features of their particular enterprise. Offerors should indicate wh ether they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, woman-owned small business, whether they qualify as socially or economically disadvantaged, and whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. This announcem ent should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate determinations about potential sources only. No solicitation is available. The Gove rnment will not reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or substituting a response to this notice.
