The US Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking a qualified contractor who has the qualifications and experience to provide Job Corps Center Annual Safety and Occupational Health Program Reviews for 125 Job Corps Centers. Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential and career technical training services to more than 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps Centers nationwide. The Job Corps Centers where the safety and occupational health program reviews will be performed will be identified through the DOL's National Office of Job Corp. These services shall include: 1) Verification of Emergency Funding requests for Funded and Not Corrected Safety, NFPA Life Safety code deficiencies or Health violations as a result of the Safety, Occupational Health Program Reviews and Environmental Inspections. 2) Verify for newly designed facilities or renovation projects that a substantial completion Certificate and Punch List is issued in accordance with Planning, Design and Construction Administration Guidelines for Architects and Engineers JCH 814.8-10, and 29 CFR 1960.34(a) (1) to 1960.34(a) (3) to create the abatement plan and authorization for facility occupancy. 3) Conduct Real Physical Property Inventories of facilities for the Job Corps Centers. No cost proposal is required for the response to this synopsis. The response must be specific to each of the criteria listed above to demonstrate that the respondent is capable of performing the required services. The submission shall not exceed 20 pages. Responses should include examples of at least three projects or contracts performed that are similar in size and scope to the services required as outlined above.
