Solicitation Documents: The Notice is to advertise the Pre-bid meeting which will be held on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 09:00am. All participants shall meet at the Almanor Ranger District Office located at 900 Highway 36, Chester, CA. The solicitation(s) will be issued in early 2014 as a Commercial Service Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical responses to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about January 15, 2014. Description: The intent for the contract(s) will be to secure services for the following 3 items: 1. Masticate brush and small-diameter trees on approximately 62 acres within the Poker Chip Reforestation area (Chips Fire). 2. Mechanical cut and pile approximately 52 acres within the Poker Chip Reforestation area 3. Grapple cut and pile approximately 45 acres within the Poker Chip Reforestation area Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: The project area is located on the Almanor Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest in Plumas County, CA.
