Notice3 of Intent to Award Sole Source for Electrical Service for Orwell Dam, in Fergus Falls, MN.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Lake Region Electric Cooperative , P.O. Box 643, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572-0643, to provide electrical service for Lake Orwell Dam. This synopsis is a Notice of Intent to issue an award under other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for competitive proposals. The determination not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was met in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1 and is solely at the desertion of the Government. There is only one responsible source for electrical service in the area and that is Lake Region Electric Cooperative. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining future procurements.
