46--Water Purification Services

Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) -Yuma, intends to negotiate a two month extension with four (1) month options to an existing firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with D & S Services located at 12204 E Del Norte, Yuma, Arizona 85367-9042. D & S Services currently provides maintenance, operation, repair, and installation services of water treatment plants and water treatment systems for the U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) located at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ. These non-personal services include Operational, Installation, Preventative Maintenance and Repair services for Water Treatment Plants and Water Treatment Systems Facilities. The current contract expires on 31 October 2011 and will be extended for a period of two month from 01 November 2011 through 30 December 2011 with four (1) month options from 1 January 2012 through 30 April 2012. The extension is necessary to ensure the continuance of services while allowing adequate time to competitively award a follow-on contract. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability provide the required services, interested parties may submit a capability statement or white paper which may be used for market research purposes for the follow-on acquisition.
