American Recovert and Reinvestment Act/ ARRA Modification To Existing Contract

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS FOR A Modification to an existing procurement ( GS-04P-10-BV-D-0027/GS-P-04-10-BV-5117). The procurement was awarded against the GSA IDIQ Contract with Fire and Security , INC. ( DUNS NUMBER, 077592983). THIS IS AUTHORIZED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA). GSA has applied funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 to complete water, gas, and cooling tower sub-metering installations for various building through-out GSA Region 4's inventory. This modification will add one additional building to the original contract. The total estimated amount of additional ARRA funding that will be applied to this contract via this modification is $26,640.00. This project is being procured in order to comply with electric, gas, and water metering requirements set forth by EPAct 2005, EISA 2007, and the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act. The project will consist of c oordination, installation, and engineering of equipment necessary for collection, storage, and transmission of advance metering data to the central office ION EEM enterprise server. T he modification effective date is 11/04/2010. This is not a request for quotations. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code of 236220 .
