Intend to award sole source

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - Regional Contracting Office, Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center, Twentynine Palms, CA intends to issue a purchase order under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i) (B) to Headworks, Inc., on a Firm-Fixed Price Sole Source basis to purchase one (1) spiral assembly and one (1) sieve zone for custom built waste water treatment center. The anticipated award date is 05 March 2014. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is available upon request. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
