Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has announced a tender for the Construction of 47 km Section of "Kutaisi-Abasha " Gas Pipeline.

The United States Agency of International Development (USAID) and the Government of Georgia (GoG) have entered into an agreement for assistance to promoting energy security through greater access to electricity and natural gas supplies for households in Western Georgia and secure gas supply security and reliability through infrastructure improvements. Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has announced a tender for the construction of 47 km Section of "Abasha-Senaki" Gas Pipeline Interested legal entities and individuals are invited to submit the bids. The winner must complete the construction no later than 12 months following the entry into force of the agreement; Bids must be received from 11:00 a.m. June 18, 2012 till 5:30 p.m. June 22, 2012, local time. Bids will be opened at 6:00 p.m. local time on June 22, 2012 in the administrative building of Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC). Interested entities and individuals are required to pay a bidding participation fee of 500 GEL (or the equivalent USD or Euro with official exchange rate of National Bank of Georgia) to GOGC.
