The United States of America through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC, for its acronym in English) and the Government of the Republic of El Salvador (the "Government" or "GOES"), have entered into a Millennium Challenge Grant Agreement, for an amount of US$365.2 million (US$277 million from United States of America Government, through the Millennium Challenge Corporation and US$88.2 million from the Government of the Republic of El Salvador) ("Grant Agreement"). The Grant will be used to support the following activities: 1) Human Capital Project, 2) Investment Climate Project, 3) Logistical Infrastructure Project; and, 4) the installation and administration costs of the agency responsible for the implementation.
