Y -- Provide UXO Construction Support and excavation actions required for acquiring, excavating, identifying and isolating all explosive hazards located in the area of irrigation installation.

The 1st Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB, VA intends to award a sole source contract with Explosive Ordnance Technologies, Inc (EOTI) of Oak Ridge, TN for the following requirement: 1) Provide the necessary personnel and equipment to safely excavate the main and lateral piping. The contractor shall identify and/or isolate all explosive hazards for the irrigation work on the Raptor Golf Course. 2) Prepare Work/Health and Safety Plan. 3) Acquisition and removal of anomalies and scrap. 4) Prepare final reportin accordance with DID MR-030. In addition to DID requirements, the contractor shall include all QC documentation in the Final Report. The authority for this non-competitive award 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(2), as implemented by FAR 6.302-2. Interested concerns may identify their interestand submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available, therefore, requests for such documents will be considered invalid responses. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this must in writing.
