Synopsis: Contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment and man hours necessary for the installation of 2000 tons of rip-rap at the Wright Patman Lake stilling basin. The contractor will be required to load and haul all the stored rip-rap from the storage location to the stilling basin by way of tub trailers and trucks. The rip will be dumped onto the roadways on the north and south sides of the stilling basin. A bed of pit-run gravel will be placed on the roadways to prevent damage to the road when the rip is dumped. Location: Work will be located on the down stream side of the dam on both the north and south slopes of the stilling basin starting from the discharge chute and extending downstream. Location of rip-rap stone: All rip-rap will be furnished by the Corps and be stored on location on the gravel access road located on the downstream side of the dam, north of Moss Thornton road.
