The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, Nashville District, Contracting Division, intends to award under a sole source basis (as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available ( e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization) to Lock-N-Stitch Inc. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, and equipment necessary to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) the existing cast iron base stiffeners and repair cracks. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 238190. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers or a solicitation of offers. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
