Z--HOFU UPGRADE HVAC, PAINT AND STORE MUSEUM COLLECTIONS IM

The Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Interior Region 1, North Atlantic-Appalachian intends to issue a Request for Proposal for the following project: Ironmaster¿s HVAC Upgrade, Painting and Museum Collections Storage. The project location is Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site,Ironmaster's Mansion, 2 Mark Bird Lane, Elverson, PA 19520. The work includes all labor materials, bonds and insurance to successfully upgrade the existing HVAC system, paint the interior display rooms, repair windows and exterior doors, repair exterior decks and paint the exterior surfaces, and remove and store of all museum and collection. All work performed shall be within compliance of the Contract Specifications and Drawings. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. This contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process in accordance with FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation, including all bid documents, will be posted to the websites: http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net on or about July 13, 2020. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package, you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM, System for Award Management, in order to receive contract awards This is a competitive small business set-aside acquisition; only small businesses will qualify for award. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238220- Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning with a small business size standard of $16.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude for this project is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee will be required with the Solicitation; Payment and Performance Bonds will be required within 10 days of award.
