RECOVERY – Replacement of critical mechanical and electrical systems in the Main Laboratory at the Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory in Athens, Georgia

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service intends to modify a firm-fixed price contract to extend the period of performance through July 26, 2011 and to incorporate additional services and materials necessary to move freezers from Building 35 to Building 12 and to modify Building 12 to properly accommodate the freezers This contract was awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act and 41 U.S.C.253(c)(5). The additional services and the period of performance extension have been deemed necessary for project completion. This opportunity is available only under Contract No. AG-3K15-C-10-0024.
