NOTICE OF THE INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO RMR Real Estate Services, West Region Posted Date: September 12, 2016 Procurement Office: The Department of the Interior (DOI) ¿ Interior Business Center (IBC), 7110 West Jefferson Avenue, Suite 350, Lakewood, CO 80235 Response Due Date: September 13, 2016 by 12:00 PM MST NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: Department of the Interior ¿ Interior Business Center ¿ Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) intends to award a sole source contract to RMR Real Estate Services to remodel a portion of the first floor of building 7401 to prepare for the expansion of the Drug and Alcohol Division within the Human Resource Directorate for a one-month base period under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in pursuant to FAR 6.3021-1 under the North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 238390. DOI/IBC/AQD will procure a single award contract for the demolition and remodeling of the first floor space for the expansion of building 7401. The requirement will include: 1. Demolition 1st floor building 7401 - Remove and dispose of two movable walls measuring 328 Sq. ft. - Remove one permanent wall measuring 512 sq. ft. - Patch and Paint scarred walls left by demo - Carpet repair, Approximately 20 sy. 2. Construction - One wall approximately 22¿ in length - Electrical work - Fire & Safety, adding & relocating strobes & alarms 3. Factors - Cut and patch to match existing paint - Material Handling & Storage - Permits This is a sole source procurement under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
