RECOVERY - Advanced Metering System – Phase 2: Installation, 45 Buildings within Region 5

****FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY**** This project is being procured via the e-Buy system on the Federal Supply Schedule. Contractors under #03FAC, SIN #871204 - Metering Services are eligible to submit a proposal. General Services Administration (GSA) has a need for a contractor to install Advanced Meters in 45 buildings within Region 5. In accordance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) of 2007, the General Services Administration is implementing Advanced Metering of all building energy sources including electricity, water, natural gas, and where applicable steam and chilled water. The Advanced Metering project consists of three phases. This acquisition serves as Phase 2. Advanced Meters will be installed in a total of 45 buildings in Phase 2. This project includes but is not limited to installation of all hardware, meters and associated metering equipment, communication devices, cabling and testing of the new meters to ensure proper metering operation. It is GSA's intent that the installation will NOT interrupt any electric, gas, water, or other building service during the installation of the Advanced Metering System.
