Request For Information - Ready to Eat Cereal

This is a request for information regarding capacity for ready to eat cereal materials for delivery during the months of October, November, and December 2022. This RFI is issued as described in FAR 12.2. This is not a solicitation, nor does it guarantee that a solicitation will be issued. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This is not a request for proposals, and it does not obligate the government in any manner. USDA’s Commodity Procurement Program (CPP) seeks information regarding capacity for delivery of a variety of cereal materials to support domestic feeding programs including CSFP, FDPIR, and TEFAP. Materials must be available in household size packaging and packed in a pouch and placed in a fiberboard carton. All materials must meet the standards described in the USDA Commodity Requirements document FC11 Fortified (Ready-To-Eat) Cereal Products (Attachment 1). All information provided with regard to the commercial practices for these products should take into account USDA's 100 percent domestic origin requirement (see Attachment 3, Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurement).
