The Virginia Army National Guard intends to enter into a firm fixed price award with Valley Foods Incorporated, Youngstown, OH to provide and deliver subsistence items and meals, as contained in the Food Service Menu, to the Virginia Army National Guard during the period February 1 to March 31, 2019. Delivery of the items and meals will occur at various locations throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. NAICS: 311991 The authority cited is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source. As the estimated value of this action does not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold and historically Valley Foods Incorporated is the only responding vendor for short term ration requirements in Virginia, the contracting officer has determined the circumstances of the action deem only one source reasonably available. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Clear and convincing evidence an interested concern can provide raw subsistence items and meals at multiple locations throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia during a two month period commencing February 1, 2019 can be submitted. While the government will review the information received, at the government's sole discretion, a determination may be made to continue with a single source procurement.
