84--Notice of intent to sole source.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement; unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities. Task Force Bulldog requires cold weather equipment. The Rock Island Contracting Center - Reach back intends to make an award to Atlantic Diving Supply, 621 Lynnhaven Parkway STE 400, Virginia Beach, VA, 23452. Interested parties may email [email protected] no later than 14 March 2012, 3 p.m. CST. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement prior to 14 March 2012, 3 p.m. CST. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
