CFC-113 Oxygen gage Cleaning (Trichlorotriflouroethane)

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, Measurement Science (MS10) has a requirement for 50 Gallons of Trichlorotriflouroethane (CFC-113). The Freon 113 is to be shopped in Five Gallon Tight head Pails. Its used in calibration laboratories as a precision cleaning solvent. The Freon must conform to MIL-C-81302D, Type I, Ultra clean with the maximum residue not to exceed 1 part per million (ppm). The Vendor must test the Freon 113 and provide a Certificate of Conformance. The Government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed priced contract to American Refrigerants, Inc. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source bases in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(c). This procurement is for commercial items IAW FAR Part 12. The associated NAICS Classification is 325120 and the size standard is 1,000.
